Odessa-Opera ve Bale Tiyatrosu'nun sütunlu girişi mitolojik figürlerle dolu. En üstte dört panterli arabası ile trajedi müz'ü (musa, ilhamperisi) Melpomene. Solda Orfe, ölen sevgilisine tekrar kavuşmak için yarı insan-yarı boğa arboğa'ya şarkı söylüyor. Sağda ise dans müz'ü Terpsikhore. İkisinin arasında romen rakamları ile yapım (1884-1887) ve altında restorasyon tarihi (1967) yazıyor.
The portico of the Odessa-Opera and Ballet Theater is full of mythological figures. At the top, the four-panther drawn chariot with standing Melpomene, the muse of tragedy. Below, on the left, Orpheus singing to Centaurus, a half-man-half bull muse, to retrieve his wife, Eurydice, from the underworld. On the right is the muse of dance, Terpsichore. Inscription is about the dates of construction (1884-1887), and below restoration (1967), with Roman numerals.
