Salon de Provence'nin maskotu Mousse (Yosun) çeşmesi. Buradaki eski çeşme kuruyunca 1775'de üste fıskiyesi altta ise dört aslan başı bulunan iki hazneli yenisi yapılır (Maurice Bernus). O dönemde evlerde su olmadığından çeşmeler şehirleşme göstergesi idi. Bu çeşmeye zamanla kireçtaşı çöker ve üzerinde yosunlar-bitkiler yetişerek yapısı tamamen değişir. Şair Crousillat, şiirlerinde sıkça bu çeşmeden bahseder, nitekim bu meydana şairin büstü dikilir ve onun adı verilir.
Mousse (Moss) fountain is the mascot of Salon de Provence. After drying of the fountain here, in 1775, a new two-basin fountain with a water jet on the top and a four masks with lion heads on the bottom (Maurice Bernus) was made. Since there was no running water in the houses at that time, fountains were indicative of urbanism. In this fountain, limestone deposited over time and moss-plants grow on it, so its structure changed completely. The poet Crousillat frequently mentioned it in his poems, as a result of which the bust of the poet was erected this square and named after him.
